Institution of Civil Engineers’ ninth Coastal Management conference will be held in La Rochelle (France) on 24 - 26 September 2019.

As climate change leads to changing storms and rising sea levels, coastal management is an increasingly salient issue. With half of the world’s population living in a coastal zone, it is vital that engineers, scientists, coastal managers, government and communities work together to find bold solutions to a changing coastline.

ICE Coastal Management 2019 will gather delegates from around the world to focus on new approaches to coastal engineering that integrate planning and ‘place-shaping’ to encourage bold adaptation to coastal change, and that balance environmental and community concerns.
